So many, many things for which to give thanks! To God be the glory! Great things He has done!

Dearest daughter, can you believe what God has done!!! Thanks SO-O-O much for the video! It was better than a thousand words.

  5. At least I have a wonderful reason for my red eyes and tears on my face during the drop off this morning at school! Crying tears of joy for you all. I never thought a hand drawn note could mean so much. Much much love to you all.

  6. Tears of joy and much rejoicing for you this morning! So grateful to the Lord for His great lovingkindess toward your little one and for His grace so evidently displayed in you. Love to you!

  7. “Rejoice in the Lord always, and again I say Rejoice!!!” This is the best news!!! Thank you so much for sharing your heart and family with us! We will continue to pray for all of you.

I have to share this verse I read this morning:
    Psalm 30:11-12
” You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; You have put off my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness, To the end that my glory may sing praise to You and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks to You forever.”

Praising the Lord with you for this answered prayer!

    • Tami – I have been intending over and over to thank you for the amazing care package! Sten opened the package so somehow I missed being able to copy down your address in order to send you a thank you card which is clearly warranted given your immense thoughtfulness. Please forgive this most insufficient mode of thanks but seriously, thank you for all the time and thought and love you put into your gifts! I am truly overwhelmed by your kindness and love toward us! Thank you especially for the many, many verses you wrote out for me – they have been such an upliftment and joy! Thank you too for your letter and explanation of your heart. Please thank your kiddos for their cards and drawings – they are so special! Thanks so much Tami and I hope you are doing well!

      • Jai,

No worries, I totally understand. Your thank you is more than sufficient! 🙂 I am glad the package has been uplifting. Our whole family continues to pray for all of you. I am so thankful you are all home together for a little while. I pray it will be a refreshing time for all of you. Thank you for keeping us all updated on Allistaire.
        Much love,
        Tami

  8. Thanks SO much for sharing these videos and that wonderful 0% sign! (It was, however, rather blurred through tears of JOY!) I’m off now to find a kleenex….. 🙂

  9. Yeah Yeah I am so happy for you guys. How great is this. I hope that your guys enjoy your time away. I loved the videos. Alison and Conner liked to watch them. I will keep on praying for you guys. Be safe on the rds.

  10. I cried and cried when I watched that 0% video. It was right before Emery’s bedtime, so I ran in to her room and told her baby Allistaire is HEALTHY! She had the biggest smile on her face, and we thanked Jesus together as a family. Hugs to you!!!!!

  11. I love these precious videos…and the 0%!!!! The love abounds in your sweet family and little Allistair is a reflection of the love and faith that surrounds her! What a joy to see this beautiful story shared with amazing passion and simple trust in our God who is able! Tears and laughter and adorable sweets as Allistair makes her way back into the hospital! How funny after 40 days! Perhaps one more little pet on the giraffe?! 🙂 God bless all of you and my prayers are with you.

  12. This might be stupid, but every time you said 40 days it kept striking me as an important number. After I read your sight and gave praises to God, I looked up the meanings of the number 40 in scripture. Here’s a little clip:

The number 40 is mentioned 146 times in the Bible. The number points to or symbolizes trial and testing, or probation.

I remember reading at the beginning somebody saying this is a “test” imony and it struck me as I realized how we each have testimonies, hardships, trials, test….times of waiting on the Lord in our hardships and afterwords a story to tell of God mercies and grace. That we don’t know how they will end, where we will end up, what plans were made that were never our own, but none-the-less made by one so much greater than ourselves. I praise Him for what He’s done in your lives and Allistaire for the good news as end results. It is although, so often that we forget to praise Him in our darkest hour, in those moments in the shower where your tears stream down as heavy as the spray, when we cry out…. sometimes not asking for anything in particular…. but because we need to cry out because we no longer know what to ask. So in the good and bad we are called to praise him. This is our testimony. To attest to his faithfulness. His faithfulness in being good and righteous and in control. Whether we understand fully or not. We have seen his faithfulness and what a testimony He has laid out for your family. I simply wanted to write though…. that I believe your 40 day trial will be something later our Lord will look into your eyes and say “good job, good and faithful servant”…. because you have shared His testimony. Thank you for changing my life and teaching me lessons. As each day goes by, and our little one grows in me…. I am learning to appreciate each moment for the blessing it is. We love you guys.

    • Jenny – You’ve given me two incredible things to give thanks for! Mostly, I am CRAZY excited for you and Leo that you have a little person on it’s way!!!! Congrats and relish it my friend, take it in and allow yourself and call yourself to delight and take joy and satisfaction in all of the parts – the hard and the wondrous! Wow. I really don’t know how to tell you how excited I am for you! Thank you too for your words about having a story to tell on the other side of things – that we have testimonies of the truth of God’s goodness and faithfulness. Much love to you and Leo!
